What services do you offer for brides and bridal parties?
At Freiya Beauty, we offer a full bridal beauty experience, including hair styling, natural and soft glam makeup, spray tanning, facials, and head and scalp spa treatments.
How far in advance should I book my wedding hair and makeup?
We recommend booking 9 to 12 months in advance. For high-demand dates, such as popular weekends or holiday weddings, booking over 12 months ahead is ideal.
Do you offer bridal previews,?
Yes, we provide previews for brides and wedding attendees. These sessions allow us to finalize your desired look and ensure it’s aligned with your vision for the day.
How many looks can I try in this trial?
During your trial, we focus on achieving one cohesive look that aligns with your vision, with time for minor adjustments if needed to create your perfect style.
What should I bring to my makeup and hair trial?
Bring inspiration photos, wedding theme details, a photo of your dress, any accessories (veil, earrings), and wear white or your dress color. Clean, moisturized skin and freshly washed, product-free hair are ideal.
How far in advance should I schedule a makeup trial?
Scheduling your trial 2-3 months before the wedding gives us ample time for adjustments. Booking during natural daylight is recommended to see how makeup will appear in photos.
Will you be the person doing my hair and makeup on the day?
Yes, I will personally handle your bridal look unless otherwise arranged. For larger partiesFreiya Collective team members will assist.
If you're unable to make it on the day, do you have a backup?
Yes, we have a team of trained professionals available to step in if needed, ensuring you’re fully covered.
How long will hair and makeup take on the wedding day?
Each service typically takes about 45 minutes for attendees and bridal party, 1/5 hrs each service for the bride.
How much space will you need on the day?
A well-lit space with table access is ideal for setup. We’ll bring necessary equipment, so please reserve some space for our tools.
What makeup styles do you specialize in for brides?
We specialize in natural and soft glam makeup, enhancing your features for an elegant, timeless look.
Do you offer hair extensions for brides?
Yes, we provide rental hair extensions for brides. A consultation and fitting appointment ensures the perfect match.
What is required to confirm the booking for the wedding date?
A 30% retainer and signed contract are required to secure your date.
How should I prepare my hair and skin the night before and on the wedding day?
Wash your hair the night before and leave it product-free. Arrive with clean, moisturized skin on the day and 100% dry hair.
Is there anything I should do to prep my skin and hair in the weeks before the wedding?
We recommend starting a consistent skincare routine several months ahead, with monthly facials or treatments. Regular trims and conditioning treatments keep hair healthy.
What products do you use? Are they cruelty-free?
We use high-quality, professional-grade products, most of which are cruelty-free. Let us know if cruelty-free is a priority, and we’ll accommodate.
What if I have sensitive skin or allergies?
If you have sensitive skin or allergies, please inform us during the consultation. We use hypoallergenic products and can adjust selections to ensure your comfort.
